2 tbsp olive oil, or veggie oil1 Clove garlic, whole1 large onion, sliced in the round3 cup mushroom pieces, chopped1 can tomatoes, 4 cups2 tbsp tomato paste2 tbsp boiling watersalt and pepper, to taste1 lb lasagna noodles2 cup grated Parmesean cheese

Preparation:

SAUCEIn a deep saucepan, heat oil and in it brown garlic and onion. Removeor not as you wish. In the oil brown the mushrooms, remove, and put aside.To the oil add tomatoes and cook very slowly for 1 hour or untilpulp has broken completely. Add tomato paste mixed with water and cook 15minutes longer.PASTABoil lasagna in salted water for 8 minutes. Wash under running coldwater and leave soaking in water. Cover the bottom of a baking dish withsome of the sauce. Over this place place a layer ofdrained lasagne. Cover this with sauce. Over this place a layer of drainedlasagna.
