Honey Apple Pork Chop
Serves 1 - 2
Ingredients
- 1 (4-5 oz) lean pork chop, fat trimmed
- 1 granny smith apple, peeled, cored, diced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Place your apple into a pan on medium heat. After about five minutes, they should begin to brown.
- Add the honey and apple cider vinegar to the pan and mix well. Allow the mixture to caramelize on medium while you prepare another pan to high heat.
- Cover the inside of a deep pan or baking dish with aluminum foil and spray a little olive oil to prevent sticking. Once the apples are ready, place the pork chop in the center and cover it with the apple mixture.
- Place the pork loin in the oven and cook for 20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
