Mint-Chocolate Snowball Cookies

li3/4 cup whole-wheat flour/li
li3/4 cup unbleached flour/li
li1 tsp baking powder/li
li1/4 tsp salt/li
li3 tbsp fat-free sour cream/li
li3 tbsp canola oil/li
li1/3 cup granulated sugar/li
li1/3 cup Splenda/li
li1 cup mint-flavored, semisweet chocolate morsels/li
li1 tsp vanilla extract/li
li1 large egg/li
li1 egg white/li
liPowdered sugar (optional)/li

liCombine whole-wheat flour, unbleached flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside./li
liIn a separate bowl, beat sour cream and canola oil with sugar and Splenda./li
liMelt chocolate and add to sour cream mixture. Add vanilla and blend well. Add egg and egg white, and beat until smooth./li
liGradually add flour mixture and beat until combined./li
liSplit dough into fourths and wrap each fourth in plastic wrap. Freeze until firm (about 20 minutes)./li
liPreheat oven to 350F. Shape each portion of dough into about 10 (1-inch) balls, and place on non-stick cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool./li
liOnce the cookies are cool, dust the tops with powdered sugar, if desired./li
